Ann Arbor SPARK Honors Arbor Assays with FastTrack Award

NOVEMBER 16, 2015 – Ann Arbor SPARK recently presented its annual FastTrack award to Arbor Assays for its impressive record of growth, along with 13 other Washtenaw County-based companies.

FastTrack awards are presented to companies with a 2011 revenue of at least $100,000 and an annual growth of 20 percent during the subsequent three years, which Arbor Assays exceeded. Yeo & Yeo CPAs & Business Consultants sponsors the Ann Arbor SPARK FastTrack Awards and verified all of the award applications.

“The FastTrack awards are proof positive that this region has the right assets in place to fuel successful businesses,” said Paul Krutko, president and CEO of Ann Arbor SPARK. “These growing companies are creating jobs, attracting investment, and improving our region’s economy, and the impact is undeniable: job growth in Washtenaw has consistently outpaced the nation’s and the state’s. In the last five years, jobs here have grown by seven percent, compared to four percent in Michigan and three percent in the country.”

Arbor Assays was founded in 2007 with the goal of creating a place where people and innovative ideas could continually advance.  The company develops, manufactures, and ships more than 100 inventive, high quality products for scientific research.  Its worldwide customer base includes the academic, governmental, life sciences and pharmaceutical fields.

Other companies honored represent a wide spectrum of businesses in the Ann Arbor region, and include DreamMaker Bath and Kitchen, Human Element, Image Data Conversion, InfoReady Corporation, Power Marketing Research, TekWissen IT, McCreadie Group, Sungrace Software, Oxford Companies, Caelynx, MedHub, LLamasoft, and Online Tech.
