Our PGE2 EIA Kit Measures PGE2 Concentrations in Any Sample

The Arbor Assays Prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) Multi-Format EIA Kit uses a unique Prostaglandin E2 monoclonal antibody developed by Arbor Assays that allows one assay to handle all the formats and sensitivities previously covered by the hugely popular and well-published K018 series of PGE2 immunoassays (EIA, CLIA and High-Sensitivity EIA), which it replaces.

This remarkable PGE2 monoclonal drives the performance of the Arbor Assays PGE2 Multi-Format EIA kit and boasts some truly amazing properties, including super-fast kinetics showing the same binding characteristics at 2 or 16 hour incubation, samples as low as 2 pg/mL to be measured in less than 3 hours, and excellent cross reactivity and low sample requirements.

The PGE2 Multi-Format Kit (K051-H1/H5) measures PGE2 present in serum, plasma, urine, tissues, saliva, and culture media samples and offers a choice of incubation time, sensitivity, and sample volume in one versatile kit capable of performing any PGE2 measurement you may need.

A PGE2 standard is provided to generate a standard curve for the assay and all samples should be read off the standard curve. Standards or diluted samples are pipetted into a clear microtiter plate coated with an antibody to capture mouse antibodies. A PGE2-peroxidase conjugate is added to the standards and samples in the wells. The binding reaction is initiated by the addition of a monoclonal antibody to PGE2. After incubating, the plate is washed and substrate is added. The substrate reacts with the bound PGE2-peroxidase conjugate. Thirty minutes later the intensity of the generated color is read at 450nm.
