ANNOUNCING OUR 2021 RESEARCH THE CURE™ PICK: BRAIN CHEMISTRY LABS
“…We care only for patients, not profits.” – Brain Chemistry Labs
ABOUT BRAIN CHEMISTRY LABS
Using his extensive background in ethnobotany to find innovative cures using plants, Dr. Paul Cox founded Brain Chemistry Labs (BCL) in 2004 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. In a world where dominant pharmaceutical companies have generally become large, for profit, multinational corporate entities, BCL has stayed efficient, effective, and solution-oriented by foregoing bureaucracy. Instead, BCL collaborates with world-recognized specialists who perform the most integral parts of the research in a given project. BCL’s employee- and people-centered focus stood out to us at Arbor Assays, and we’re thrilled to support them this year.
WHAT ARE SOME OF THEIR CURRENT PROJECTS?
Great question! Below are some of BCL’s current research projects, and you can read more about their full body of research, their research approach, and their scientists here on their website.
BCL is currently working on…
- Development of L-serine as a possible new drug for ALS
- Development of Prostratin as a new drug for HIV/AIDS
- Studying cyanobacterial toxins throughout the world
ARBOR ASSAYS’ RESEARCH THE CURE™ PROGRAM
At Arbor Assays, we believe we should be proactive in giving back to the community. We are offering our Research The Cure™ program for the 10th consecutive year. This program helps support important medical research with a portion of proceeds from every purchase going directly to a chosen charity.
Each year, we donate to a different charity. If you have a recommendation for future Research the Cure™ beneficiaries, click here to send us your suggestion!
